Inspirational quotes for use in healing art work

Many self-help, healing art projects use images, words, poems, and inspirational quotes to aid in the healing process. Quotes and poems can be incorporated into any art healing project.

You can copy the quote into a word program and format it in a fun font and add color; then print it and paste into your art journal. Or you can write out the quote in your art journal and add artwork around it. See an example below from my art journal using one of my favorite quotes. Since the focus of art healing is to heal a certain area of your life, its best to pick from a category that you want to work on. If you're dealing with anger, choose a quote from the anger category. If you're grieving for a lost loved one, choose one from the death and grieving category. Now get those markers out and start healing.
